-- Thanks to David Gans for lending me his Dats

I grabbed it early this morning and immediately listened to the Wharf Rat>Dark Star sequence with the beautiful jam. It is waaay better than the old transfer that i had on my ipod (which i listened to earlier this morning while walking the dogs). However i could not do a direct comparison to the more recent betty board that also circulates and was also way better than the old version on the ipod.

Having gone back and listened to that sequence in new sonic clarity I am not convinced that the audience response at the beginning of Wharf Rat is that of relief that the jam is over. They are responding to something that is happening in the building.

Yeah, this one was a lot of fun to work on. So much clearer and cleaner than the circulating betty board. I'm sure you'll all love it.

He's also released 2-21-69 (20 minute Eleven), 12-5-81 and said there's a bunch of 1976 coming.
